Student Assistant Position: Web Development
We are looking for two student assistants who would support us in web development.
Main duties and responsibilities for student assistant for back-end web development include:
Mandatory skills: Java for server side programming Jetty or Apache Tomcat, general knowledge of back-end web development.
Additional experience is welcome: Mongo DB and Apache Lucene.
Main duties and responsibilities for student assistant for front-end web development include:
Mandatory skills: Java-script, HTML, XML, CSS, JSON. Additional experience is welcome: D3.js - Data-Driven Documents.
The ideal candidate is a student at ETH Zurich or University of Zurich and has experience with web development.
He/she is highly organized, showing attention to detail and capable of prioritizing high volumes of tasks, strong communications skills and proficiency in English. Finally the candidate is reliable and loyal.
