Computerworld: Dirk Helbing elected member of Swiss IT expert group

Swiss Federal Councillor Widmer-Schlumpf appoints a new group of IT experts. Professor Dirk Helbing will be a member.

The name of the new elected group is „The future of data processing and security" ("Zukunft der Datenbearbeitung und Datensicherheit"). The former National Councillor Brigitta Gadient will lead the group which consists of scientists Dirk Helbing, Adrian Perrig, Nicolas Gisin, Jean-Pierre Hubaux and Mathias Kaiserwerth; legal experts Ursula Widmer and Rolf Weber; business and communication representatives Thomas Pletscher and Regula Hänggli; and government representatives Luzius Mader, Peter Fischer and Hanspeter Thür.
